The Chronicles of Homeschooling project was initiated in August of 2008. At this time, the project is in stage one of its outline: information gathering.

During this stage, our project coordinator will be collecting facts, contacts and homeschooling experiences, conducting interviews, condensing the breadth of homeschooling’s history into timeline segments and generating an overview of national homeschooling trends over the past 40+ years.

At this stage of the project, you can be of the most assistance by providing contacts to bolster the project’s range of sources, filling out our online questionnaire, and making yourself available for more in-depth personal interviews.
